“You will absolutely love Dr. Edna Ellison’s book, Friendships of Purpose. With writing style that is warm, easy to understand, and filled with visual imagery, she unfolds the riches of Paul’s letter to the Ephesians. Her ability to make these teachings part of everyday living enables the reader to readily apply them to their personal lives.”
– Renee Coates Scheidt, speaker and author, Bringing Hope to the Heart Through the Truth of God’s Word
“Like almost every woman I know, my life feels like it is on daily overload. Though the specific stresses and problems change from day to day, I frequently find myself questioning where I will get the energy to make it through another day. What pushes me on? What keeps me going? Knowing that where I am is where God wants me; knowing His purpose for my life and knowing I am fulfilling that. While most women share the stress of an over-full life, few share the success of it: knowing God’s purpose. In Friendships of Purpose, Edna Ellison combines the reality of an over-full life with the need to know God’s will. Perhaps, like me, you cannot carve several hours out of your schedule for weekly Bible study attendance and its accompanying homework, but you can snatch a half hour to catch up with a friend at the coffee shop. Meet with your friend, get a corner table, and connect with God’s purpose for your life through Friendships of Purpose.“
