Discovering the Freedom to Love and Be Loved
by Chandra Peele
As author Chandra Peele speaks to thousands of teen girls across the country, she is often struck by a reality that is simply not as God intended: Even within the church, there are so many hurting girls desperate to experience transforming love.
In Cherished, readers will mine deeply into God’s Word on a six-week journey to real freedom. In discovering God’s matchless love for her, the teen reader will grow to understand how she can then love Him with all her heart, soul and mind—and love others as she loves herself. Written in conversational “big sister” style, the author relates to teens in a unique, unthreatening way through real stories and application. Using relevant Scripture, the study explores questions like Love myself? and Who’s my neighbor?
For those who have traveled with Chandra Peele through Priceless and Radiant, Cherished now moves them along the spiritual journey to deeper places where a passion for studying God’s Word is solidified for the years ahead. With confidence in the security of God’s love, teens will experience the spiritual freedom God intends for them.
