Brenda Poinsett works with women who want a new lease on life and with adults who want to learn and grow. With a degree in education from Southern Illinois University and a master’s degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Brenda was a teacher. She taught math, sociology, and Bible literature at the high school and college levels. In 2000, she left the formal classroom so she could teach life-changing knowledge.
At retreats, conferences, and special events, Brenda offers encouragement and hope as well as valuable information. Her presentations are filled with biblical insight, life applications, workable solutions, candid opinions, and life enthusiasm. She works at perfecting her communication skills through memberships in the National Speakers Association, Toastmasters International, and Advanced Writers and Speakers Association.
Along the way she came to see writing as another important avenue for sharing life-changing knowledge. She’s the author of 15 books.
Brenda and her recently retired husband, Bob, have three grown sons. They live in Union, Missouri, where Bob and Brenda study and write in their book-lined offices.
